Olympiad on English in College

In teaching English language before the teacher raises several issues: how to sustain the interest of learners in learning a foreign language as part of the teaching process to guide the activities of students in the communicative channel, what you need to do to create and maintain an active motivation of the students to the study of language?

It is very important to organize events on the principles of personality-oriented education to solve all these problems.

Extra-curricular work on a foreign language is necessary for the development and maintenance of interest in learning a foreign language, for developing the creative abilities of students.

Subject Olympiads, which are held annually in the college, help to identify the abilities of students, creative tasks, various competitions and quizzes help in practice to apply their knowledge and skills, regardless of their level, give an opportunity to believe in their strength in learning a foreign language.

In this academic year, the Olympiad traditionally took place in early April.

Second-year students flashed their knowledge in the Olympiad "Do you know English-speaking countries?", Which covered a wide range of issues: geographical location, historical development, cultural life of countries, attractions.

The subject Olympiad gave students an incentive to study and use the English language in their life, and also gave a charge of positive emotions and festive mood.
